We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, conveniently located just a short stroll from the city's vibrant shopping area. My daughter and I loved the spacious room, especially the outside shower on the balcony. The afternoon tea offering was delightful, making our evenings special.
My kids wished for more options at breakfast to cater to picky eaters.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City!
Our family stayed for five nights, enjoying the cozy De La Somme Family Room. The staff treated us like family, especially Daphne’s warm welcome. The rooftop afternoon tea was delightful, and while breakfast could use more veggies, the friendly ambiance made every meal special. Definitely a place to return!

Enjoying a lovely location with friendly staff, the rooftop pool offers a nice view. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but noise from neighboring areas made sleep tricky at times. Breakfast was decent, though the service could be a bit inconsistent. Overall, a good experience worth recommending.

The location made it super easy to explore places like the historic Opera House and Notre-Dame Cathedral. We enjoyed some shopping nearby. Don't forget to check out the rooftop pool while you're there. it’s a great spot to unwind.
One downside was that the breakfast area was quite cramped during our stay, and we had to wait for seats on a couple of mornings, which was a bit frustrating.

I had a delightful stay at Au Lac Charner. The newly renovated suite featured tasteful classical French decor and a huge comfortable bed with soft sheets. Breakfast offered a vast variety, with delicious fruits, made-to-order eggs, and an impressive selection of Asian dishes alongside continental options. The coffee was outstanding, reflecting Vietnam's rich coffee culture. I spent plenty of time by the beautiful rooftop pool, enjoying refreshing fruit smoothies and stunning views. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting with guided tours and local transportation. Additionally, the unique bathroom design, with glass walls, made privacy a concern since I could see and hear my travel companion in theirs. While I appreciated the fresh and clean look, the odd layout wasn't ideal.

missingWrote a review on 23 Juncramped space
The room size felt cramped for two, especially with luggage strewn about. Breakfast options remained bland compared to other spots I've visited, and the lack of a coffee menu in the mornings was a bummer. Additionally, the shower setup—curtain in a compact bathtub—wasn't my favorite way to kick off the day.
